Dr. Sakshi Sata, O.D.

Dr. Sakshi Sata received her Doctor of Optometry degree with honors from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from Christian Brothers University, also in Memphis. She is a member of the Illinois Optometric Association as well as the American Optometric Association.

As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Sata enjoys caring for patients of all ages, but she has a special love for working with children. She believes a child’s first eye exam is a milestone worth celebrating, and she goes out of her way to make the experience fun, comfortable, and memorable for both kids and parents. Her clinical interests include myopia management, glaucoma, ocular disease, and pediatric eye care—areas where she brings both expertise and genuine compassion.

When she’s not in the office, you can usually find Dr. Sata exploring new places with her family. She loves collecting souvenirs from their travels, each one a small reminder of shared adventures. One of her favorite parts about being at Spex Expressions is the close-knit, community-focused atmosphere of Sycamore, which makes coming to work feel a lot like coming home.
